Cleanup begins at shuttered facility in New England

Material inside the facility formerly operated by eWaste Recycling Solutions in Lewiston, Maine.

Processor eWaste Recycling Solutions, which handled a sizable portion of Maine’s regulated material, has closed. Over 1 million pounds of leaded CRT glass and a substantial stock of intact devices remain at its former site.

Docu Shred of East Grand Forks, Minn.; Ranger On-site Document Shredding of San Antonio; Secure Shredding of Cape Coral, Fla. and Security Shredding Mobile Document Destruction of Lufkin, Texas have either achieved or renewed their NAID certifications for physical destruction of hard drives.

Greentec of Cambridge, Ontario has renewed its NAID certifications for hard drive sanitization as well as physical destruction of hard drives.
