Business was reported done at 75 cents per pound delivered U.S. South. HDPE natural bales were sold at 40.75 cents per pound last week at the Solid Waste Authority’s May bid offering in Palm Beach County, Fla.

Tight bales reflected some sorting equipment and technology issues at certain East Coast municipalities.

In the domestic prime HDPE market, trading was limited last week. Generic prime HDPE blow molding was assessed at 57 cents per pound railcar delivered north of Houston. HDPE pail was steady at 56 cents per pound railcar delivered north of Houston.
