News from DTG Recycle, Gannon & Scott and more

Apple expanded its self-repair program, adding M1 Mac desktops and studio displays to the list of devices with repair options. 

Aqua Metals brought its Nevada pilot facility for recycling lithium-ion batteries on-line. 

South Carolina’s Berkeley County Council approved a 30-year deal with Redwood Materials to build a $3.5 billion facility. 

Washington state-based DTG Recycle acquired 1 Green Planet for an undisclosed amount. 

ERI launched the second phase of SOAR, an internal system that uses proprietary AI and machine learning to nearly fully automate the receiving process of desktops, laptops and other electronic devices. 

Gannon & Scott hired Stephanie Caldwell as part of its customer service and administrative team. 

The Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries (ISRI) launched a recycling jobs docuseries.

Tennessee-based S3 Recycling Solutions appointed Ray Guzman, Wanda C. Lyle and Richard Pinson to its board.
