News from Chevron Phillips Chemical Company, Weima and more

Chevron Phillips Chemical Company announced that its investment subsidiary is funding chemical recycling companies Nexus Circular and Mura Technology.

Erema announced it is offering larger sizes of its equipment, allowing the user to produce more RPET pellets.

Mars Petcare is preparing to roll out pet food pouches made from chemically recycled plastic. The company plans to introduce the products in Europe in 2022.

Environmental advocacy group Oceana released a report that estimated Amazon generated an estimated 599 million pounds of plastic packaging waste in 2020, up 29% over the previous year.

SCS Global Services announced that Arqlite, Granite Peak Plastics and Revolution are the first plastics recycling firms to achieve certification to GreenBlue’s Recycled Material Standard.

Equipment supplier Weima wrote about how its machinery is used to process production waste in an eyewear manufacturing plant.
