The city of Austin, Texas announced Richard McHale as its new Austin Resource Recovery director. 

Brightmark and the Guy Harvey Foundation launched a K-5 multimedia marine science curriculum called “Changing the Tide.”

Georgia-Pacific shared a life cycle assessment demonstrating that its Juno technology can have a “significant impact” on carbon footprints. 

Leadpoint restructured its Recycling Operations Support Team, promoting Chad Bebber to director of operations support and naming James Hamner, Jeffrey Bailey, Andre Robinson and Michael Nunez as operations support managers. 

Novelis agreed to supply beverage can sheet to Ball from its Bay Minette, Ala. plant, which is currently still under construction.  

Republic Services ordered 50 Volterra ZSL electric collection vehicles from McNeilus Truck and Manufacturing, with delivery starting in June 2024.

The Tennessee Recycling Coalition appointed Amber Greene as executive director.
