Agilyx joined the Sustainable Medicines Partnership to help develop closed-loop recycling for pharmaceutical packaging. 

The ALPLA Group acquired recycling company Texplast from the FROMM Group, making ALPLA Group one of the largest PET recycling companies in Germany with a capacity of 75,000 tons per year.

The American Chemistry Council (ACC) reported that Mississippi passed a law to regulate chemical recycling technologies as manufacturing operations, not solid waste disposal. 

The Association of Plastic Recyclers (APR) released its 2021 Annual Report in conjunction with the Plastics Recycling Conference, sharing that the membership is growing. 

IRG bought 25 acres in Erie, Pa. for a future plastic recycling plant. The land cost $1.23 million and the plant is expected to cost upwards of $185 million. 

Canadian social enterprise Last20 will partner with the Yonkers Department of Public Works to test asphalt made with recycled LDPE. 

Target rolled out Target Zero, a line of products with packaging designed to be refillable, reusable, compostable, made from recycled content or made from materials that reduce the use of plastic.
