The owner of EPC purchased an ITAD company in Malaysia to expand its capacity in Asia by 15,000 assets annually and take on more medium and large enterprise contracts.

CSI Leasing Malaysia acquired ExportXcel, an ITAD company that handles used and refurbished IT equipment and does buybacks, trade-ins, secure IT disposal and other services. CSI had been working with ExportXcel for more than five years, a press release noted.

ExportXcel will continue to be managed by its founder and CEO Leong Kam Moon, according to the press release. The company was founded in 2004 and is an IBM trade-In partner, asset disposal services partner for Acer and a Blancco-certified data erasure ITAD partner.

“This acquisition reinforces CSI’s mission of building global strategic alliances with its customers, helping them finance, manage and dispose of IT securely and sustainably,” the press release noted.
