News from Northeast Recycling Council, Plastipak and more

Aduro Clean Technologies completed pilot-scale steam-cracking trials.

The Northeast Recycling Council will hold an online recycling policy course Dec. 8-12. 

The US Senate passed the bipartisan REUSE Act of 2025, which directs the EPA to develop a report on the feasibility and best practices of reuse and refill systems.

Plastipak announced a $53.8 million expansion at its facility in central Louisiana that will include upgrades to increase use of PCR.

The 39th annual Southeast Recycling Conference & Trade Show (SERC 2026) will be held February 15-18, 2026, at the Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa in Miramar Beach (Destin), Florida.

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources announced its annual recycling awards.
