News from Heinz, Plastics Forming Enterprises (PFE) and more

ABQ Foam Recycling received a grant from the Foam Recycling Coalition to buy a densifier.

Chase Plastics expanded its recycled content line. 

Heinz is debuting a 100% recyclable cap for its ketchup squeeze bottles, making the whole bottle recyclable. 

McDonald’s expanded its use of UBQ Materials, incorporating it into seating and electrical components in a São Paulo restaurant.  

Plastics Forming Enterprises (PFE) achieved ISO 17025 accreditation as an independent third-party laboratory, allowing it to provide accredited testing services for plastics recycling compatibility. 

Scott Cassel, CEO of the Product Stewardship Institute (PSI), published a book about EPR and managing product life cycles.  

Techmer PM published its 2023 sustainability report 

TerraCycle hired Damian Finio as chief financial officer.
