US Premium Plastics is expanding into the injection molding business and recently signed a lease in Berwick, Pa.

A company offshoot, called US Premium Molders, will be operating out of space leased from  the Berwick Industrial Development Association at the B.I.D.A. Complex. It will be using recycled plastics in all products, a B.I.D.A press release said.

“US Premium Molders has entered into a long-term lease agreement with B.I.D.A. to begin their plastic injection molding business this year,” the press release said. “They are set to begin some renovating to get their production center up and running and will be producing product before summer.”

Gokhan Cicek, owner and president of US Premium Molders, said Berwick was chosen for its easy access to the major interstates and proximity to the metropolitan markets.

US Premium Plastics is a film extruding and bag making company founded in 2012 and based in Whitehall, Pa.
