Circular Action Alliance selected Kim Holmes as its executive director for Oregon. Holmes will lead CAA’s work as the prospective producer responsibility organization to develop and implement an extended producer responsibility program plan in the state.

Aluminum recycling giant Novelis announced that Tadeu Nardocci has been appointed executive vice president, manufacturing operations, a job that will include overseeing the company’s in-progress 600,000-tons-per-year aluminum recycling and rolling plant in Bay Minette, Alabama.
A new specialty license plate was signed into law in Florida, according to Recycle Florida Today. Proceeds from the sale of the new plate will benefit the RFT Foundation, to further recycling and waste reduction throughout the state.
