Colorado’s Producer Responsibility Program for Statewide Recycling is accepting applications to fill a vacancy on its producer responsibility advisory board, representing haulers of recyclable materials. Applications to finish the three-year term seat that runs through 2025 will be accepted until Jan. 26 or until the seat is filled.

Chemical recycling firm Elemental Recycling announced David Hudson will serve as the company’s chief executive officer. Hudson previously founded film processor Circulus, and he’s held positions at reclaimer Avangard Innovative and glass recycler Strategic Materials.

AI waste analytics provider Greyparrot and established robotics company AMP Robotics were both named to the Cleantech Group’s 2024 Global Cleantech 100, AMP’s fifth consecutive year on the list.

Los Angeles approved a $11 million MRF processing agreement through June for Athens Services after a previous contract expired in June 2023, leaving Athens to process material without a formal agreement.

ReFED and the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) created a database of federal grants that could be used to fund food waste reduction work.

TerraCycle partnered with SodaStream to offer consumers a way to recycle their SodaStream sparkling water makers for free at the end of the device’s life.
