Circular Action Alliance named Rachel Wagoner as California executive director. Wagoner previously was director of the California Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery

The Circular Economy Development Center announced Marianne Mate as the satellite office coordinator for the southwest region of Colorado.

The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection awarded Recycling and Reuse Business Development grants totaling more than $1.8 million to expand recycling, reuse and composting infrastructure in the state.

Bicycle maker Trek and Liberty Tire Recycling launched a U.S. bike tire recycling program, where cyclists can bring worn-out bicycle tires to a participating Trek store for collection and recycling at no cost to the consumer.

The U.S. Department of Energy selected government bodies in Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Nevada, New York, Tennessee and Wisconsin to receive a combined $11.5 million in Bipartisan Infrastructure Law funds as part of the second round of the State and Local Battery Recycling program.
