Big resin users see product sales fall

Last month, readers were drawn to stories about how major corporations, including Waste Management and NOVA Chemicals, are producing and marketing PCR.

1 | NOVA Chemicals launches recycled resins line
NOVA Chemicals will offer three commercial recycled resins under a new business division called NOVA Circular Solutions.

2 | WM to invest $125M expanding PCR production
After spending many millions of dollars buying plastics reclaimer Avangard Innovative last year, Waste Management now plans to invest another $125 million expanding its film recycling business.

3 | Big resin users see product sales fall
Economic conditions are taking their toll on two huge end users of recycled plastic, Advanced Drainage Systems and Unifi.

4 | Chemical recycling developments move forward
Several chemical recycling facilities, offtake agreements and technology licenses were announced in February, with industry giants like Shell and LyondellBasell involved.

5 | US Plastics Pact launches Reuse Catalyst initiative
