Dynamic Lifecycle Innovations’ Texas expansion is the next step toward what company leadership hopes will be nationwide reach in the near future.
The ITAD company opened a facility in Waco last month, shortly after expanding into Loudoun County, Virginia. The Wisconsin-based company chose Waco for its fourth location to improve access to major markets in Dallas, Houston and Austin, according to company president Alicia Suessmith. She said a strong customer base in and around Texas, along with a surge in data center construction there, made Waco the natural next step.
“It’s about meeting our customers where they are,” she said. “When we think about Texas, we think about the rapid rate of tech expansion there, coupled with our customer concentration in that area.”
The Waco facility will offer reverse logistics, asset tracking and data destruction, Suessmith said. A presence there will also reduce logistical complexity and improve responsiveness, she said, and allow Dynamic to build new relationships with regional businesses and partners.
This expansion is the third for Dynamic since the start of 2025. The company built a facility in Hendersonville, Tennessee, in March 2025, followed by the Virginia facility near the end of that year. Suessmith declined to disclose costs relating to the new facilities.
Suessmith said the company’s mindset is improving service and access. Regional facilities reduce concerns around chain of custody while lowering emissions and increasing options. More facilities also give Dynamic, which opened in 2007, more direct access to customers and materials.
“If you’re relying on third parties to do services, they may not show up in the same way you would,” she said. “It’s about being there and upholding our standards.”
The company performs mineral recovery from its primary Wisconsin site. Materials accumulated in Waco and other sites will be subject to mineral recovery, Suessmith said, but are otherwise resold, reused or redirected to “their next best life.”
The company hopes to direct a lot more devices to that “next best life” in the coming months. Suessmith said the company is canvassing several markets in the western US and hopes to achieve nationwide reach by mid-2027. She declined to share specifics on which markets but said the company wants to better accommodate existing customers while maximizing the chance to create new business.
While expanding its physical presence, Dynamic also wants to broaden its offerings to meet increased demand for security- and data-related services, Suessmith said. She said the company is modernizing its operations and adopting technology that will enhance the performance of its locations, creating more value.
“Dynamic is in a strong position as a company,” she said. “Everything is feeling right.”
