The Circular Plastics Taskforce (CPT), a Canadian effort involving a number of brand owners and packaging firms, completed its first phase, which involved mapping the value chain of the plastics recycling industry in Québec.

Ontario-based EFS-plastics and two of its nearby customers were featured in a CTV News story for collecting, recycling and remanufacturing plastics within the same region.

Flint Group Narrow Web launched two UV-flexo coating products, aiming to improve the recyclability of shrink sleeves and pressure-sensitive labels.

Nestlé Mexico will collaborate with U.K. recycling firms Greenback and Enval to build a flexible plastics recycling plant in Mexico, handling about 13.2 million pounds in its first year.

Israel-headquartered Polysack announced that Yaron Bar is the company’s new chief operating officer and Yair Gellis is its vice president of marketing and business development.

Tomra Recycling opened a flake sorting test center in Italy.

Unifi brought its REPREVE mobile tour to the University of Notre Dame during the

school’s home opener football game against Purdue University. The tour highlighted apparel made from recycled plastic bottles.
