E-scrap processor Elgin Recycling has signed a lease to expand into a nearly 64,000-square-foot facility in the Chicago suburbs.
The Chicago-area metals recycling company signed a lease for a facility in West Dundee, Ill. to provide space for its electronics recycling operations, according to the Daily Herald newspaper. The facility, which will include electronics disassembly operations, is less than two miles from the R2-certified company’s headquarters in Gilberts.
A 40-year-old company, Elgin Recycling employs over 100 people at six locations in the Chicago metropolitan area, the article notes.
