News from Circulor, Closed Loop Partners and more

Ball Corporation launched its most sustainable aluminum aerosol can, which has half the carbon footprint of a standard can. 

Supply chain transparency company Circulor raised $25 million in Series B funding.

Closed Loop Partners announced that its Closed Loop Infrastructure Fund signed and funded its second loan to the Broken Arrow Municipal Authority for $1 million to purchase five new automated side loader recycling trucks. 

Hillenbrand released its 2021 sustainability report.

Machinex announced a project with Rumpke Waste & Recycling to provide a 56-ton-per-hour residential single stream system in Columbus, Ohio.

The Nebraska Recycling Council hired Haley Nolde as executive director, effective June 13. Nolde had been serving as interim executive director since March. 

The Solid Waste Environmental Excellence Performance Standard (SWEEP) appointed Leonard Robinson to its board of directors. Robinson is a partner and chief sustainability strategist for the Atlanta-based Sustainable Environmental Management Company.
