AMCS launched its AMCS Platform Winter 2024 update, including the AMCS Platform for Residential Services and new features for circular economy automation. 

Cafeteria Culture and the Urban School Food Alliance marked the fifth biannual Plastic Free Lunch Day, with more than 3,000 schools in at least 36 states and the District of Columbia participating.

The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality is seeking information from entities interested in being a certifier of out-of-state commingled recycling processing facilities handling Oregon-originated material. 

The Recycled Materials Association is accepting nominations for its 2025 Lifetime Achievement Award, given annually to at least one person who has made significant contributions to the recycled materials industry and/or the association.

Resource Recycling Systems announced company changes including transitioning to an employee ownership model, refreshing its brand identity and redesigning its website. 

The City of Sunnyvale, California, completed installation of a full-scale replacement of its existing food waste depackaging system, with equipment from Van Dyk Recycling Solutions. 

Weima, a German manufacturer of plastic and paper shredders and other equipment, celebrated 25 years in the North American market at its headquarters in Fort Mill, South Carolina. 

Hauler WM recently finished a $40 million update to its Philadelphia MRF and opened a new $30 million MRF in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.
