Ascend Elements and GEM Co. are collaborating to advance lithium-ion battery recycling and engineered battery materials production in Europe. Germany's Cylib will receive €26.1 million ($30.6 million) in EU funding toward building one of the largest lithium-ion battery recycling facilities in Europe.  Asia's Green Li-ion will supply recycled battery material to Ecopro for the next five years starting in 2026.
