Wholesale trading network Tradeloop has partnered with the Refurbishers Online Community to encourage nonprofit groups to join the growing online refurbishers community.

The Tradeloop Nonprofit Initiative provides nonprofit organizations and Microsoft registered and authorized refurbishers with a free Tradeloop membership and a 50 percent discount on commercial memberships. By joining, members are able to facilitate trades, sales and donations of refurbished electronics and computer parts.

The venture is yet another sign that reuse is on the rise in the industry.

Members gain access to a network of companies offering a range of devices and parts, from hard drives to keyboards, in wholesale quantities. Members can also bid on items up for sale. Finally, under the new initiative, members can easily donate parts and whole devices to nonprofit entities.

To find out more about the Tradeloop Nonprofit Initiative visit the recently launched website.
