PetroChem Wire: HDPE bale prices up in July
By Editorial Staff, Resource Recycling
HDPE post-consumer bale prices for U.S. East Coast business ended July up 1-1.5 cents from June, at 37-39 cents per pound.
This reflected higher production runs at plants producing HDPE post-consumer pellets and is a direct result of stronger demand for dairy products. Generic spot prime HDPE, blow mold, on the U.S. Gulf has held steady through early August at 68 cents per pound, the predominant level seen in July.
