With the roster of companies attaining third-party certifications or audits continuing to grow, E-Scrap News has compiled a round-up of the firms announcing certification this past week.

  • Access of Aiea, Hawaii; Eagle Secure Shredding & Doc Mgmt LLC of Tucker, Georgia; IROW of Mosinee, Wisconsin; Midcon Data Services of Edmond, Oklahoma; and Secure Records Management Systems of Sanford, Maine have either achieved or renewed their NAID Certifications for Physical Destruction of Hard Drives.
  • Also, LifeSpan Technology Recycling of Denver, Colorado has renewed its NAID Certification for Computer Hard Drive Sanitization and Physical Destruction of Hard Drives; and Guardian Data Destruction, Inc. of Long Island City, New York has achieved NAID Certification for Computer Hard Drive Sanitization and Physical Destruction of Hard Drives.

Announcement: Over the coming weeks and months E-Scrap News will be incorporating OHSAS 18001 and NAID AAA into its certification directory, as well as moving the directory online. If your firm recently completed these certifications, a CHWMEG audit or an ISO 9001, ISO 14001, R2, RIOS or e-Stewards certification, e-mail henry@resource-recycling.com to be included in this section and in E-Scrap News' quarterly directory.
