Certification scorecard

With the roster of companies attaining third-party certifications or audits continuing to grow, E-Scrap News has compiled a round-up of the firms announcing certification this past week.

  • Philadelphia-based ECOvanta, the e-scrap subsidiary of Covanta Energy, has successfully completed e-Stewards certification.
  • XTechnology Global of Danvers, Massachusetts, eCycleSecure of Charlotte, North Carolina, RAE IT Asset Management of Ocala, Florida, and E-Waste Recyclers of Colorado, located in Grand Junction, Colorado, are all certified to R2, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
  • Environmental Office Solutions of East Hartford, Connecticut is now R2 certified.
  • California Electronic Asset Recovery of Mather, California is certified to e-Stewards, R2, RIOS, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
  • Huron Valley Steel Corporation in Trenton, Michigan is R2 and RIOS Certified.
  • Consolidated Logistics, Inc., in San Antonio, is certified to R2 and RIOS. The company was previously certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
  • 3N Document Destruction, Inc. of Clifton Park, New York; A Shred 2 Pieces of Irving, Texas; Affordable Shred of Springfield, Illinois; Cintas Document Management of Grand Island, New York; Cintas Document Management of Liverpool, New York; Document Shredding & Storage of Lubbock, Texas; First-Shred LLC of Carrollton, Texas; I-Secure, Inc. of Grants Pass, Oregon; Northeast Data Destruction LLC of Plainville, Massachusetts; Proshred Security of Charlotte, North Carolina; and Shredder's, Inc. of Goodwood, Nova Scotia, have either achieved or renewed their NAID Certification for Physical Destruction of Hard Drives.
