PetroChem Wire: Recycled polypropylene prices follow prime lower

By Editorial Staff, Resource Recycling

Recycled CoPP and HoPP pellet prices fell 2 cents per pound in early April, reflecting the trend in prime PP pricing.

CoPP black pellet sold between 51-54 cents per pound, FOB, down 2 cents from March. CoPP and HoPP flake prices are also down in early April by 2 cents with most buyers on the sidelines. HoPP MC regrind attracted little interest when offered at 37-40 cents per pound. Prime PP producers lowered offers as much as 7 cents in March for April deliveries, with prime PP hovering around 70-71 cents per pound in mid-April.
