PetroChem Wire: Recycled polypropylene prices move higher

By Editorial Staff, Resource Recycling

Prices for recycled polypropylene moved higher in the first half of February following stronger prices for prime material.

CoPP black pellet sold at 60 cents per pound in the second week of February, up from 53-54 cents per pound in January. Regrind also increased, with HoPP mixed color flake selling around 41-44 cents per pound in mid-February. Prime polypropylene sellers raised prices 6 cents for February deliveries following January prime PP increases of as much as 16 cents.
