Certification scorecard

With the roster of companies attaining third-party certifications or audits continuing to grow, E-Scrap News has compiled a round-up of the firms announcing certification this past week.

• Indianapolis-based RecycleForce is now certified to the R2 standard.
• American Document Destruction, Inc. of Sparks, Nevada; Commonwealth Document Management, Inc. of Danville, Virginia; H & R Contractors, Inc. of Staunton, Virginia; Norfolk Disposal of Waterford, Ontario; Proshred of Northern Virginia of Sterling, Virginia; Proshred Security of Crestwood, Illinois; United Document Destruction and Storage of Reading, Pennsylvania; and Vanish Document Shredding of Houston, Texas have all either achieved or renewed their NAID Certification for Physical Destruction of Hard Drives.
• Opportunity Distributing, Inc. of Hopkins, Minnesota has achieved NAID Certification for Computer Hard Drive Sanitization and Physical Destruction of Hard Drives.
