Blancco, DestructData announce partnership

Data security and asset management firms Blancco and DestructData have announced a strategic partnership to join the companies' hardware and software offerings.

Under the new partnership, Blancco's data-erasure software will be integrated into DestructData's data security systems, which generate reports on hardware health and verify data-erasure to various industry standards. The equipment focuses on hard drives outside of their enclosure, and can cover either IT reuse and refurbishment, or asset destruction and recycling.
