Circular.co released a report on optimizing the recycled plastic value chain. 

Dollar Tree and Family Dollar joined the Beyond the Bag Consortium. 

The Foodservice Packaging Institute’s Foam Recycling Coalition granted Cook County, Ill. $50,000 to help with the purchase and installation of a foam densifier at the county’s Center for Hard to Recycle Materials (CHaRM).

The Recycling Partnership reflected on three years of PP Recycling Coalition progress, noting that grantees have seen a ninefold increase in the amount of PP they can recycle. 

A study from SystemIQ laid out a plan to build circular systems for PET packaging and polyester textiles in Europe. 

The U.S. EPA extended the comment period on the Draft National Strategy to Prevent Plastic Pollution to July 31.
