The American Chemistry Council released a survey that found 88% of respondents considered chemical recycling an acceptable form of recycling. The organization also applauded the passage of an Indiana law that classifies chemical recycling as manufacturing instead of waste management.

Oceana is asking Amazon shareholders to again support a resolution calling on the company to develop a plan for reducing its growing plastic packaging footprint. 

rePurpose Global certified AE Global’s cannabis packaging “plastic negative” and Lemon Perfect’s beverage container “plastic neutral.” 

TOMRA published a study on consumers’ shopping preferences and attitudes around drink container recycling, finding that 87% of respondents spent their bottle deposit money in the store where they redeemed the containers.
