1 | Jobs from container deposit programs


A new report from the Container Recycling Institute shows that jobs could be created from what many people throw away. But unlike similar studies, this one specifically examines U.S. jobs related to beverage container recycling and different collection methods.

The City of Toronto has issued a RFQ to procure 2, 3 or 4 contracts to provide processing services for a total of up to 190,000 tonnes of Single-Stream Recyclable Materials (SSRM) at facilities owned and/or operated by the Contractor over a maximum period of 19 months. The RFQ is available here.
