2 | RR Conference 2011: Clearing up packaging confusion

Packaging messaging regarding recyclability is too often unclear, lacking specificity, or just plain wrong. In addition, data collection on access to recycling is simply not consistent or coordinated. By taking a harmonized approach to communication between industry and consumers, the Labeling for Recovery Project seeks to clear things up. This timely project, branded in August as "Restart the Cycle," is getting ready to launch a national pilot, which will include a website with information and guidance for consumers and other stakeholders. Join Anne Bedarf of the Sustainable Packaging Coalition as she offers breaking updates on this project.

Don't miss the 2011 Resource Recycling Conference, to be held August 17-18, at the JW Marriott in Indianapolis, Indiana. For more information, visit www.rrconference.com or click on the banner below.

Don't forget to make your hotel reservations by July 27 to receive the special conference rate of $159 plus taxes. Hotel reservations can be made directly with the JW Marriott Indianapolis by calling 800-266-9432 or online. When calling to make your hotel reservation, identify yourself with the Resource Recycling Conference to receive the special conference rate.
