4 | RONA hosts webinar on national certification standard

Recycling Organizations of North America will be hosting a webinar to address the latest issues surrounding the creation of a national certification standard for professionals in the recycling and resource management industry.

According to RONA, there is currently no national professional certification standard that covers state-based programs, or one that covers more general aspects of the recycling and resource management industry. Developing such a standard, argues RONA, would create a larger pool of qualified resource management professionals that could transfer to jobs in different states with greater ease.

Funded by a community-based job training grant from the U.S. Department of Labor's Employment and Training Administration, the webinar will address the latest on the development of a national standard.
