2 | Resource Recycling Conference 2014: Improving material reuse

As much as 40 percent of landfill waste comes from construction projects, so clearly reclaiming and reusing construction materials can significantly boost a municipality's diversion efforts.

At the upcoming Resource Recycling Conference, the founder and CEO of PlanetReuse will offer a slew of useful information to educate attendees about practical and effective strategies for improving reclaimed material reuse. This highly informative presentation will illustrate the wide range of salvageable building materials, demonstrate the most efficient process and timing for incorporating reclaimed materials into a project, provide an overview of a national carpet tile reuse program and discuss technologies that are changing the industry.

At the end of this presentation attendees will walk out the door with the confidence needed to educate communities.

Resource Recycling Conference 2014 is taking place at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside Sept. 16-17. Head to rrconference.com for more information on attending, sponsoring and exhibiting. And be sure to plan your trip to include the numerous industry trade associations holding meetings before, during and after the conference itself. More information on those events will be coming soon.
