5 | New insights in analysis of Chinese plastic recycling


Patty Moore, the president and CEO of Moore Recycling Associates, has long considered herself a plastics recycling advocate, but heard stories of how plastic scrap exported to China was burned or was handled improperly. Worried that she was a party to practices she couldn't support, Moore traveled to China to find out just what happens to the material when it is shipped there and has produced a report on her findings.
