Although neither company could be reached for comment, it appears that the PET recycling joint venture operated by the Coca-Cola Co. and United Resource Recovery Corp. LLC (URRC) has ceased operations.

3 | EPA budget slashed


The recent approval of the federal government�s 459-page budget included a $1.6 billion cut in spending by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. This represents a 16 percent reduction, and returns the EPA to budget levels of about five years ago.
