The owner of a recycling facility that California officials allege bilked millions of dollars out the state's Beverage Container Recycling Fund has reached a plea agreement clearing him of most of the charges, but leaving him with a hefty bill.

5 | Pepsi unveils 100-percent plant based PET bottle


PepsiCo. has countered it's other beverage rivals with the introduction of its own PET bottle made from bio-based raw materials. Until now, conventional bio-based bottles, such as the PlantBottle used by Coca-Cola, only sourced approximately a third of their material from bio-based sources. However, Pepsi claims it has solved several engineering challenges and has produced a bottle made from 100-percent bio-based PET.
