2 | Plastics Recycling 2014: Extra events mean extra value
Besides the thought-provoking sessions and bustling trade show, Plastics Recycling 2014 also offers attendees a full plate of ancillary meetings and networking opportunities that will make the trip to Orlando even more worth your while.
First, on the afternoon of Monday, March 10, SPI: The Plastics Industry Trade Association is offering a half-day summit to highlight emerging technologies that will shape the future of the plastics recycling industry. Also on Monday afternoon, join the China Scrap Plastics Association for its Post-Green Fence Forum.
Then, the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries, Inc. (ISRI) invites all conference registrants to attend a reception before the conference formally kicks off. The reception will be Monday, March 10 from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.
On the morning of March 12, the Association of Postconsumer Plastic Recyclers (APR) is offering "an update on the state of the plastics recycling industry" at a free informational breakfast. APR will also hold its annual membership meeting on March 12-13.
Finally, following the Plastics Recycling Conference, the Society of Plastics Engineers' Plastics Environmental Division's 2014 GPEC will take place March 12-14.
