3 | Pesticide container collection sets record
The Ag Container Recycling Council has announced that the collection of pesticide containers exceeded 8 million pounds for the first time in 2010, with 8,068,107 pounds of material recycled. The volume is a 2.7 percent year-over-year increase from 2009, and brings the total volume of pesticide containers recycled since 1992 to 117 million pounds.
