Another month, another record as the prices for printed wiring board scrap spiked upward in August, hitting a new high of $8.47 per pound, up 7.4 percent from July and a stunning 46.5 percent over the year-earlier level. The year-to-date price through August of $7.57 per pound is up 36.2 percent.
