2 | Arrow launches electronics management business

Arrow Electronics, Inc., which last November purchased IT asset disposal firm Intechra, has launched an electronics supply-chain management and disposal service consisting of Intechra, reverse logistics firm ReSolve and global asset management firm Converge.

4 | WM lists e-scrap progress

Waste Management has released a sustainability report outlining the environmental, economic and social impacts of its operations in North America for 2010. Although most of the company's recycling efforts are centered around other materials, it recognizes the growing presence of e-scrap in waste streams and has ambitions to capitalize on it.

The State Electronics Challenge has gone nationwide as of Jan. 1. The program offers free technical assistance and resources to public entities � which includes everything from state universities to tribal governments - to help them take steps to green their operations, including recycling electronic equipment in an environmentally responsible way.
