Global metal and glass packaging firm Ardagh Group published sustainability roadmaps for its businesses, updating emissions, ecology and social targets and, for the first time, included decarbonization roadmaps that further detail its 2030 goals.

Recycling data and compliance platform CIRT partnered with the Consumer Brands Association’s SmartLabel to create a digital tool that allows consumers to get location-specific recycling information through a QR code. 

Goodwill of Colorado announced a new recycling partnership with O-I Glass to help boost consumer glass recycling by using dedicated, specially branded collection bins at each of Goodwill of Colorado’s Outlet locations.

The Plastics Industry Association presented the 2024 Congressional Recycling Champion Award to Delaware Sen. Tom Carper, a retiring co-chair of the Congressional Recycling Caucus. The Recycled Materials Association also honored Carper during an America Recycles Day celebration.

The Recycling Partnership marked its delivery of 2 million curbside recycling bins to more than 100 communities across the country, with the 2 millionth arriving in Fort Collins, Colorado.
