News from American Chemistry Council, Consumer Brands Association and more

The American Chemistry Council released a survey finding that 88% of respondents considered chemical recycling an acceptable form of recycling. 

Closed Loop Partners’s Beyond the Bag Consortium announced a reusable bag initiative in 150 stores across three states, working with CVS Health, Target, DICK’S Sporting Goods, Dollar General, Kroger, TJX and Ulta Beauty.

Waste Connections reappointed founder Ronald J. Mittelstaedt president and CEO after he stepped down in 2019. He replaces Worthing F. Jackman, who is leaving the company after 19 years.
