The California Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle) will hold a virtual rate hearing April 27 at 9 a.m. PST to review and explain proposed July 1, 2023, recycling rates. It will also hold a public meeting April 25 at 9 a.m. PST to solicit feedback on the operation of dealer beverage cooperatives. 

Separator technology provider Eriez promoted John Blicha to vice president of global marketing and brand management. 

Recology met its goal of powering its fleet with more than 90% renewable or alternative energy in 2022. It also cut fleet emissions by 44%. 

Paper-based packaging provider Solidus Solutions rebranded to Solidus and is focusing on creating a circular packaging economy.  

Starbucks testing is allowing Colorado customers to use personal cups in the drive-thru in 184 participating stores from April 10 to June 30.
