Ball partnered with Recycle Aerosol to increase U.S. recycling rates of aluminum aerosol cans. The company is also working with Novelis to increase recycled content in Ball aluminum cups to 90%. 

Casella Waste Systems President and CEO Edwin D. Johnson will retire on June 30. The company said Edmond “Ned” R. Coletta, current senior vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer, will replace him. 

Rebecca Caldwell will replace William Turley as executive director of the Construction & Demolition Recycling Association on July 1. Turley founded the organization. 

Recycling robotics company Glacier raised $4.5 million in seed funding, led by New Enterprise Associates (NEA). 

Recycled fiber packaging company Greif published its 2021 sustainability report, which noted the company managed over 3.2 million metric tons of recycled fiber in 2021.

Keep America Beautiful named Jennifer Lawson as its new president and CEO, effective May 16.
