The Association of Plastic Recyclers announced several upgrades and improvements to the APR PCR Certification Program.

ExxonMobil partnered with Kenyan bottle manufacturer Blowplast to develop a blow-molded lubricant bottle with 50% post-consumer recycled content, more than double the previous proportion. 

PureCycle commissioned a new 325,000-square-foot facility located in Denver, Pennsylvania, to sort mixed plastic bales using optical and robotic sorting technologies and improve the PP concentration of mixed bales from between 60% and 80% to about 90% to 95%. 

The Recycled Materials Association is accepting nominations for its 2025 Lifetime Achievement Award, given annually to at least one person who has made significant contributions to the recycled materials industry and/or the association.
