Amcor released a 100% PCR one-liter soft drink stock bottle. 

Flexible packaging supplier American Packaging Corporation launched a line of PE pet-food packaging materials that are designed to be compliant with the Association of Plastic Recyclers’ guidelines for PE films and pre-qualified to bear the How2Recycle label.

Brand owner BlueTriton Brands announced a goal that all of its beverage packaging will be made from an average of 50% recycled plastic, building on a previous goal that this packaging would include an average of 35% recycled plastic by 2025. As of 2022, just shy of half of these packaging products included an average of 35% recycled plastic, the company reported.

The Canada Plastics Pact and the National Zero Waste Council released guidance for industry to eliminate unnecessary and problematic plastics.
