Spanish plastics research institute AIMPLAS reported that the LIFE CIRC-ELV Project developed a process for recycling plastic components from vehicles. 

The Alliance to End Plastic Waste is offering a $3 million prize for flexible plastic packaging circular economy solutions. A single winner will be awarded the money in January 2023.

TotalEnergies and New Hope Energy announced an agreement for New Hope Energy to build a new chemical recycling plant in Texas, making feedstock that TotalEnergies will purchase and convert into polymers for use in food-grade packaging. Meanwhile, S&B Engineers and Constructors signed a multi-year master service agreement to expand New Hope‘s existing pyrolysis unit in Tyler, Texas.
