Special paper and label producer Acucote introduced a recycled PP film for direct thermal printing. 

Dow made an investment of an undisclosed amount in Swiss chemical recycling company Plastogaz SA. 

Graham Packaging issued its sustainability report, noting it used 7% PCR in its products last year and 2.5 million pounds of ocean-bound plastics. 

Igloo Coolers set a goal of recycling the equivalent of 30 million post-consumer bottles by 2025. In 2021, the company used the equivalent of 1.4 million PET bottles in its REPREVE Collection and 150,000 pounds of post-consumer polyolefins for its ECOCOOL Collection.

Qatar Foundation announced plans to build Green Island, Qatar’s first community-centric recycling hub, at Qatar Foundation’s Education City.
