Meal kit supplier Blue Apron announced a goal to use 75% post-consumer recycled content in its meal kit boxes by the end of 2025. The company uses paper and plastic packaging.

French PET recycling startup Carbios announced new members have joined its board of directors.

Heinz introduced what the company describes as its “first 100% recyclable cap” for certain squeeze bottles. The products are made from rigid plastic rather than the typical flexible valve.

Indorama will build an Indonesian PET recycling plant that can process 2 billion PET bottles per year.

Electronics supplier Samsung reported using 55.1 million pounds of recycled plastic within its consumer electronics division in 2020. The company has a goal to use 551 million pounds of recycled plastic from 2021 through 2030.
